1st Source Bank Announces Business Banking Promotions In Fort Wayne

1st Source Bank announces business banking promotions in Fort Wayne. Tim Rice has been promoted to Manager of Business Banking and business bankers Luke Squires, Cecile Weir and Dave Voors have been named Team Leads for Small Business, Commercial Banking and Ag Banking respectively.

In his new role as Manager of Business Banking, Time Rice will oversee all aspects of business banking in the bank’s Fort Wayne Region. Rice has over 25 years of business banking experience. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and is a graduate of Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne with a B.S. in Marketing. Rice is active in the community as a board member of the Community Development Corporation of Fort Wayne and as a volunteer with the United Way and the YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign.

Luke Squires has 16 years of banking experience with 1st Source. As Team Leader for Small Business, Squires will continue to assist business clients with their lending and banking needs and he will manage a group of Retail and Small Business Bankers. Squires graduated from Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne with a degree in Finance where he was named a Lawson Scholar. He is active with Erin’s House for Grieving Children and the YWCA. In 2013, Squires was recognized as a Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly “40 under 40” award recipient.

Cecile Weir has more than 17 years of banking experience. In her role as Team Leader for Commercial Banking, Weir will work with the Bank’s larger & middle market clients. She will also have the Region’s Treasury Management services reporting to her. Weir graduated from Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne with a B.S. in Business Administration and she received an M.B.A in Marketing and Management from Indiana Tech. She is active in the community with The Women’s Bureau, the YWCA, the Development Fund Board of Brightpoint and other local organizations. She is also a member of WOWNet and the Builders and Contractors Association.

Dave Voors has 12 years of banking experience. As Team Leader for Ag Banking, Voors will oversee the bank’s agricultural lending and banking in the Fort Wayne area. Voors received a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University. He has been active with the Allen County Soil and Water Conservation District, Tri-State Watershed Alliance, the Principal’s Advisory Board at Woodlan High School, Woodlan Basketball Boosters and as a youth basketball coach.
