To help celebrate the New Haven Sesquicentennial, a mural is being painted by a local artist; Kim Linker. This mural is being painted on the side of the Ruhl’s Furniture and Flooring on Summit Street in New Haven. The mural was sponsored by Imagine Realestate, Steve McMichaels. This seems to me to be an opportunity for a good feel news story. She usually paints in the mornings and still has more to do. Also, a couple of other murals are being planned for New Haven’s downtown. I have attached a picture of just the beginnings of the mural, but it will have much more added in the upcoming weeks.
