BACKGROUND:
Ivy Tech Community College Northeast will celebrate its annual commencement ceremony Friday and will graduate more than 1,000 students in Fort Wayne, who will earn associate of science degrees, associate of arts degrees, associate of applied science degrees, certificates, and/or technical certificates. This year marks Ivy Tech Northeast’s 46th annual commencement.

Ivy Tech Community College statewide is awarding more than 20,000 credentials at commencements taking place from May 5 to 14.

SPECIAL NOTES:

· Speakers include Emmy Award winner, activist, producer, and entrepreneur Kevin Wall and the student speaker, Elizabeth Powers.
