Mother’s Day Downtown 2016

Downtown Fort Wayne is happy to announce a new spring event for families of all ages and from all across the region to celebrate Mother’s Day Downtown on Sunday, May 8 from 10:00a.m. – 4:00p.m.

Free trolleys and event guides will connect you to great retail locations, restaurants, and Mother’s Day themed activities around Downtown.

“Downtown is everyone’s new neighborhood,” said Bill Brown, President of the Downtown Improvement District. “Mother’s Day Downtown will be a great way to treat the special mom in your life on her special day, while supporting our fantastic local businesses and attractions.”

Guides which showcase Mother’s Day Downtown trolley stops, activities, and even parking suggestions will be available at participating business and sponsor locations starting Friday, April 15, and will also be available on the trolleys the day of the event. So make your plans, catch a trolley, drive, or take a spring walk or bike ride between the many exciting activities and let’s celebrate Mother’s Day Downtown!
