ABOUT THE PLAY:
A brilliant novel, then a brilliant play, then a brilliant movie, is coming to FPT. The plot pits McMurphy—equal parts slacker and rebel—against Nurse Ratched, the tyrannical dictator of an institution that is a perversion of its intended purpose. This story is still as powerful and moving as when it premiered in 1963. This production features Joel Grillo as Randle P. McMurphy, Emily Arata as Nurse Ratched, and Nick Stolle as Chief Bromden. The rest of the cast includes Nol Beckley, Steve Bricker, Christi Campbell, Emily Caudill, Tom Corron, Chip Davis, Jerry Hertenstein, Brett Kaminski, Ken Lombard, Duke Roth, Joe Purcell, Ashley Shewman, Nick Stieber, Jacob Starr, Carolyn Stouder, Christian Wolff. Costumes are designed by Jeanette Walsh. Direction and other designs are by Thom Hofrichter.
