2016 National Alpaca Show And Auction To Gather In Fort Wayne

Alpaca owners, vendors and breeders from 28 states will gather in Fort Wayne for the 2016 National Alpaca Show and Auction from March 18 to 20.

Hosted by the Alpaca Owners Association and Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, more than 900 alpacas from 200 alpaca farms will participate in a show ring competition and live auction event for three days.

On Friday, March 18, the AOA National Alpaca Auction starts at 4:30 p.m., and serves as the premiere event for the North American alpaca industry each year. The auction is open to the public and admission is free.

The 2016 National Alpaca Show and Auction expects to welcome 1,000 alpaca enthusiasts and special guests in Fort Wayne. The show last came to the Summit City in 2010.
