Erin’s House Hosts Check Presentation To Recognize $15,000 Community Impact Grant Given By New York Life

WHAT: Erin’s House for Grieving Children will hold check presentation to recognize the $15,000 Community Impact Grant given by the New York Life’s Fort Wayne General Office.

The check presentation will take place during a regular program night at Erin’s House so a portion of the children and families that benefit from the grant can show their appreciation to the local New York Life representatives.

New York Life’s Community Impact Grant program, which began in 2008, awards grants of up to $25,000 to local nonprofit organizations which are supported by New York Life agents and employees and address the needs of the community.

WHY: Because of supporters like New York Life Erin’s House can provide all of their onsite peer support groups, in-school peer support groups, crisis response teams and three age-appropriate camps at no cost to the grieving children, teens, young adults, and families that need them.

This will be a great opportunity to see Erin’s House program night in action with families, volunteers and staff. Come and meet just a portion of the more than 2,000 individuals Erin’s House impacts each year through all of their programs and services.

WHEN: Thursday, February 25th

7:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.

The event is open to the local media for interviews.
