IHOP® Restaurants is celebrating its 11th annual National Pancake Day®, when participating restaurants nationwide will offer each guest dining in one free short stack of buttermilk pancakes in an effort to raise $3.5 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals programs nationwide.
WHY:
On National Pancake Day, guests dining in participating restaurants can order one free short stack of buttermilk pancakes in the hope that they will make a voluntary donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities. - IHOP Restaurants served over 6 million free pancakes on National Pancake Day 2015 and pancake lovers donated $3.5 million to children’s charities.
- All of the free pancakes served on National Pancake Day 2015 would create a stack nearly 19 miles high.
- Since the inception of National Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP Restaurants has raised $20 million to support charities in the local communities in which they operate.
- This year, IHOP has partnered with Snapchat to develop Sponsored Geofilters for customers dining at IHOP on National Pancake Day. Geofilters are fun and engaging location-based art that can be added to photo and video Snaps. Snapchatters will be able to reveal the creative overlays while they’re in-restaurant.
