McDonald’s High School Basketball Players Of The Month – Decembe r 2015

The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network, and McDonald’s have partnered to recognize two outstanding high school basketball players in the Fort Wayne community. In December, McDonald’s and the Mad Ants selected Taniece Chapman and Dylan Barrow as the McDonald’s High School Players of the Month. Both players will be recognized at an upcoming Mad Ants home game.

Taniece Chapman is in her sophomore year at Fort Wayne South Side High School, where she is averaging 12.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game for the lady Archers. During the month of December, Chapman helped lead her team to the finals of the SAC Tournament with a win over Concordia in which she recorded 19 points. Earlier in the month, Chapman led the team with 16 points/9 rebounds in their win over the Northrop Bruins.

In his senior year at Leo High School, Dylan Barrow has helped lead the Lions to a 5-3 record during the month of December. In the team’s win over Huntington North High School, Barrow recorded 13 points with 9 rebounds; he followed that performance with a dominant 26 point performance in the win over Manchester High School. Leo most recently participated in the Bob Wettig Tournament in Richmond, Indiana to end the month.
