What a difference eight consecutive wins make. That’s what the University of Saint Francis men’s basketball team has done since the second NAIA Division II Coaches’ second regular season Top 25 Poll on Dec. 8, 2015.

The 13-3 Cougars were rewarded with a nine-place jump into the Top 25 Top 10 at No. 8. USF was No. 17 in the second poll of the season. It is USF largest advance since 2009-10 when USF rose from No. 20 to No. 10 on 1/11/10.

This is USF’s 29th consecutive Top 25 rating, a record for the Cougars. It is the 106th Top 25 ranking for USF, the last 49 Top 25 selections with Chad LaCross as head coach of the Cougars. USF is 130-58 under LaCross, who is in his sixth season as head coach at USF. This is USF’s 27th Top 25 TOP 10 ranking, the second this season. USF started at the No. 4 team in the preseason poll released in late October.
