Northeast Indiana brides and fashionistas now have another option for purchasing unique accessories to complement their wedding dresses or formal gowns. Local entrepreneur Lyla Lewis opened the doors to her new business, called Blissful Boutique, on Monday, January 4, 2016, and is hosting a Grand Opening celebration on Friday, January 15. The new boutique is located at 3945 Parnell Avenue, in a strip mall across from the Memorial Coliseum.

“Blissful Boutique will be Fort Wayne’s newest bridal accessory showroom, where you will find an unparalleled collection of exquisite headpieces, veils, jewelry, and more,” according to Lewis. She said the boutique will feature accessories from top national and international bridal designers, as well as styles from private designers that will be locally available exclusively at her store.

Blissful Boutique can help outfit the bridal party from head to toe with its collection of unique accessories. From veils, tiaras and hair clips, to sashes and belts, garter sets, bridal robes and flip flops, the store will offer it all. “You will also find an extensive selection of unique formal jewelry perfect for the bride, the bridal party or a special evening,” Lewis said. “These will include beautiful drop or chandelier earrings, delicate or bold bridal bracelets and soft romantic or statement necklaces, to be treasured for years to come.”

Lewis is quite knowledgeable of bridal needs, as she also owns Wedding Bliss, a local wedding planning business. The Gary native moved to Fort Wayne 10 years ago to attend college at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW). She eventually transferred to Ivy Tech Northeast and achieved a bachelor’s degree from Trine University and an MBA in accounting from Indiana Tech.
