Every year at The Running Event, Formula4Media, Competitor magazine and Running Insight trade magazine identify the “50 Best Running Stores in America.” Throughout the United States.

It all starts in July with runners nominating their favorite stores through www.competitor.com. Then these stores are put through a rigorous evaluation process, which includes mystery shopping to assess customer service, credit ratings from vendors and assessments about local programs and community outreach commitment.

In past years, the shops ranked among the 50 Best Running Stores in America were the ones that offer exemplary customer service for every type of runner, organize training programs, group runs and local races, and provide knowledge and insights about the latest trends, the newest gear, proper running form and local trails, plus can answer endless questions about racing, training and injury prevention. In other words, it’s a shop that goes out of its way to do everything for local runners, no matter what age, experience or ability.

This year Fleet Feet Sports, Fort Wayne has been named one of the "50 Best Running Stores in America for 2015” and will be in one of only 50 stores out of thousands of stores across the United States in contention for Store of the year.

The winner of the 2015 Running Store of the Year award will be announced on Dec. 3rd 2015 at The Running Event in Austin, Texas.

This is a great honor as for this year, Formula4Media & Competitor Magazine used a new set of more stringent criteria to determine the stores. On December 3rd we will attend The Running Event to receive this award. We could not be more proud to represent the great city of Fort Wayne and our loyal customers.
