The Lutheran Foundation Awards Grant To Brightpoint

Brightpoint (formerly CANI) announced that they have received a grant of $29,000 from The Lutheran Foundation for the Covering Kids and Families (CKF) program. Brightpoint’s CKF program has licensed Indiana Navigators that provide free help to Hoosier families to enroll and understand state and federal health insurance programs such as Medicaid, Hoosier Healthwise, Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women, the Healthy Indiana Plan and the Health Insurance Marketplace. Because of the generous support from The Lutheran Foundation, CKF is able to help families and individuals gain access to the medical care that they need through health insurance.

The Lutheran Foundation, established in 1995, invests in initiatives and organizations that work to heal our community physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The Lutheran Foundation’s vision is to promote spiritual, mental, and physical well-being God intended for all people.

Brightpoint is a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving more than 35,000 people across northeast Indiana. Through a wide range of programs, Brightpoint helps communities, families, and individuals remove the causes and conditions of poverty. All Brightpoint services are provided without regard to race, age, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, ancestry, or status as a veteran.
