Byron Health Center To Host Trunk-O-Treat Event Tomorrow

Byron Health Center will host a Trunk-O-Treat in the Byron Health Center court yard and parking lot, on Thursday, October 29th from 5:00–7:00 p.m. rain or shine. Byron Health Center is located on the corner of Carroll and Lima Roads, at 12101 Lima Rd in Fort Wayne.

What can be better than cars and candy bars? Byron Health Center staff, family and friends, including the Fort Wayne Corvette Club and Eel River Elementary Student Council, will bring trick-or-treaters out a bit early to enjoy some pre-Halloween Trunk-O-Treat fun among over 40 parked cars with decorated trunks and plenty of candy. Members of the community are encouraged to join in the Trunk-O-Treat event. Byron Health Center residents will also come out and help pass out the candy. There will be a fire roaring in the fire pit while popcorn and hot drinks will be served. Warm up in the Eakin Family Room and catch a spooky movie on the big screen TV. This will be a fun-filled fall evening for all! The event will be held rain or shine and is free of charge.

Several local mascots, including the Fort Wayne Derby Girl’s Mean Jean, the Fort Wayne TinCaps’ Johnny TinCap, Crazy Pinz’s Stryker the Parrot, the Fort Wayne Mad Ant, Indiana Tech’s Maximus & the Indiana Tech Cheerleaders, the Three Rivers Festival’s Admiral Andy, the Fort Wayne Derby Brats and the Fort Wayne Fire Department’s Spotz and are expected to visit the event along with the Huntertown Fire Department. Candy for the Trunk-O-Treat is being generously provided in part by several Byron Health Center friends and vendors including Allen Business Machines, Aunt Millie’s Bakeries, Banker’s Advertising, Combustion Mechanical, Core Benefits, Barb Richards, D&B Copy Systems, Gordon Food Services, Havel – an EMCOR Company, Hometown Pest Control, Healthcare Therapy Services, Dr Linda Sodano of Huntertown Dental Services, Mental Health America in Allen County, MKM architecture & design, Nutrition Services, Old National Bank, Old National Wealth Management, Omnicare Pharmacy Services, Professional Food Equipment, Rosie Scranton, Summit Consultants, Wagner Electric as well as members of the Byron Health Center staff. Gordon Food Services has also generously donated shopping bags for the children to collect and carry their candy in.
