Ghost Tales And Other Stories At Pokagon SP, Oct. 24

Pokagon State Park will host the 24th annual Ghost Tales and other Stories of the Season on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Professional storytellers Lou Ann Homan and Steve Etheridge will perform in the park’s CCC Shelter. There will be two sessions, one at 7 p.m. for parents with younger children and one at 8:30 p.m. for older children and adults. Attendees are asked to go to only one session. Seating is limited for both.

Benches and picnic tables will be provided, and there will be some space for lawn chairs. The shelter is unheated, so guests may also want to bring blankets.

Parking is available in the North Beach Parking Lot. A flashlight is recommended for the walk back to the shelter. Early arrival is recommended.

The evening is sponsored by Pokagon State Park Interpretive Services, Potawatomi Inn, the Steuben County Deputies Association and Steuben County Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 163.

The normal park entrance fee of $7 per in-state vehicle or $9 per out-of-state vehicle applies.
