The Allen County Fairgrounds will host a benefit Outdoor & Sports Consignment Auction on Saturday, October 3rd at the Allen County Fairgrounds located at 2726 Carroll Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana starting at 10am with a preview/inspection from 8am-10am. This auction will be sponsored by Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company of Columbia City.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Fairgrounds, a 501c3 non-profit organization. The funds will be allocated to the Buildings and Maintenance Fund to help with repairs and updates as well as Phase Two of the Gazebo Building Project and the construction of a Tool Shop. “Each year we plan many fundraisers to help support the Fairgrounds and we are very excited for the first annual consignment auction. Many people forget we do not receive county-funding and relay heavily on donors and our fundraising efforts to function year-round and continue to be an asset to the community.” Says Board Secretary Michelle Love.

In order to make this event successful, the Allen County Fairgrounds is seeking people and businesses to donate items or commit item for consignment such as campers, farm equipment, boats, trucks & cars, patio furniture, grills, fishing gear, horse tack, snowmobiles, hunting equipment, garden tractors and any quality consignment lot over $100.
