STAR Bank is pleased to welcome Greg Barnes, Jr. as Senior Retail Sales Officer. Barnes is responsible for the management of retail sales efforts in STAR’s northern footprint, which consists of 15 banking centers in 7 cities, including Fort Wayne, Columbia City, Angola and Kendallville.

“We are excited to have Greg join the STAR team. His high energy and experience will certainly aid in our efforts toward continued growth and in delivering the highest quality customer experience,” shares Joe Martin, President of STAR’s north region.

Barnes earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Communication from the Florida Institute of Technology, while attending on a full basketball scholarship. An active member of the community, he has served on the boards of the Muncie Boys & Girls Club, the Health Coalition of Delaware County and Inspire Academy Charter School, among others. He is also a previous recipient of the “Young, Black and Successful” Award given to African-Americans under the age of 40 who utilize their educational and professional skills to make a positive impact on the local community.
