University of Saint Francis School of Creative Arts faculty member Cara Lee Wade will present “Mercurial Attraction,” an exhibition of her current photographic works, from September 9 through October 23 in the Lupke Gallery at the USF North Campus. An opening reception will be held in the gallery on Thursday, October 1 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Using traditional analog means, as well as alternative and digital methods, this exhibition will feature imagery from four bodies of work currently in progress: Insidious Charms, Travels in Plastic, Legacy and Broken Ladies.
Wade said, “Whether documenting lives on the fringes, seeking strength in the banal or depicting an anonymous example of a demented cultural ideal, I attempt to tangibly express my inner dialogue.”
The public is invited to view the exhibition at no charge. The Lupke Gallery is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
