The Central Catholic Alumni Association is proud to announce that Liz Kuras, Bishop Luers class of 2015, is this year’s recipient of the Central Catholic Spirit Award. Liz expressed her gratitude in an essay which addressed her feelings and appreciation for her Catholic education. This award symbolizes the attitude of Central Catholic alumni, who all came to realize the importance and the pivotal part that a Catholic high school education at Central Catholic High School meant. Bishop Luers has honored the memory of Central Catholic through its devotion to integrity, to our Catholic faith, and to the cherished memory of a high school which was indeed outstanding in the fields of sports and competition as well as academic achievements. “CC” stood for the best example of these areas from 1939-1972 and we are happy to award this honor to a Bishop Luers student who has expressed how these traditions of excellence have continued at her school.
