For the second summer in a row, Ivy Tech Community College Northeast will host South Side Fest on Saturday at Public Safety Academy: Ivy Tech South Campus. This will be the community’s sixth South Side Fest.
South Side Fest is a festival intended to bring the community together in the south side of Fort Wayne. It will feature basketball and dance tournaments, a beauty expo, music, children’s activities, and more. Visit SouthSideFest.com for more information.

June 26
3 to 5 p.m.: Basketball preliminary competition (McMillen Community Center, 3901 Abbott St.)
June 27
1 to 6 p.m.: General festival and car show open to public
1 to 4 p.m.: Basketball finals
1:30 p.m.: Live bands including Encore and Wickersham Brothers
4 to 6 p.m.: Dance competition (registration starts at 2:30 p.m.)
6 p.m.: Car show awards, dance competition awards
7 p.m.: Basketball tournament awards
7:30 p.m.: Car show cruise parade
