The Allen County SPCA is reducing canine adoption fees to just $25 this Memorial Day weekend. Adoption fees, which normally range from $50-$100 (depending on the dog’s age), have been reduced in an effort to find homes for the 25 dogs currently residing at the shelter located at 4914 S. Hanna Street, at the corner of Hanna Pettit. "Long weekends are a great time to adopt a pet, when a person has a little extra time to bond with their new four-legged family member," said the shelter’s Executive Director, Jessica Henry. "We have 25 adoptable dogs, available for $25. We hope to find all of them homes this Memorial Day weekend."
The shelter and adoption center will be open Saturday and Sunday noon until 4.
