"We’re delighted with the opportunity to offer a unique way for members of our community to have a fun evening out, while we spread the word about the Alzheimer’s Association and raise funds for the 2015 Walk to End Alzheimer’s®" stated Julie Tutwiler, Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® Walk Coordinator. “Please join us for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s® Kickoff Event!”

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Each year, more than 450,000 walkers in over 600 communities step up to the start line determined to end Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States and the only cause of death among the top 10 in the United States that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed. Formed in 1980, the Alzheimer’s Association advances research to end Alzheimer’s and dementia while enhancing care for those living with the disease.
