U.S. News and World Report names University of Saint Francis Master program in Nursing as one of the best graduate programs in country.
According to U.S News and World Report’s “2016 Best Graduate Schools” rankings, the University of Saint Francis Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) Program is in the top 22 percent of 503 nationally accredited graduate nursing programs in the United States.
The ranking is based on multiple variables including quality assessment from other Nursing School Deans, grade point average, program acceptance rates, number of master degrees awarded, faculty to student ratio, proportion of faculty with doctoral degrees, proportion of faculty in active nursing practice and federal grants awarded to the program. More information about the rankings can be found at usnews.com/best-graduate-schools.
“This ranking accurately reflects the work of the excellent faculty and students engaged in the Nurse Practitioner program at USF,” said Dr. Mindy Yoder, dean of the USF School of Health Sciences.
This May, 30 students will graduate from the program and new student applications are currently being accepted.
