Cheese and Quackers event is back for its second annual cheese-filled fundraiser to support SCAN’s mission to protect children, prepare parents, strengthen families, and educate our community to Stop Child Abuse and Neglect. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at http://scanfw.org/cheese.html. Cheese & Quackers will be held on Thursday, May 21 from 6pm – 10pm at Headwaters Park.

This year’s event is sure to be #cheesequackular with more cheese and more quacky fun than in year one! Your $35 ticket includes 2 drink tickets, plus samplings of beers and wines from Cap n’ Cork, Five Star Distributing, Mad Anthony Brewing Co., and Wine Time. But wait—it gets “feta!” Guests will be able to enjoy a "pound of cheese," with each of the 16 local vendors featuring their “grate”est cheese creations. Try cheesy food samples from Applebee’s, Bagel Station, Black Canyon Restaurant, Catablu, Classic Café, Club Soda, For Goodness Cakes, Friends, Granite City Food and Brewery, JK O’Donnell’s, JW Anderson’s Events & Catering, Parkview Regional Medical Center, Pizza Hut, Salsa Grille, Shigs In Pit, and Tucanos Brazilian Grill.

Enjoy all this cheesy deliciousness while the band MP Cheese plays your favorite songs, ranging from classic rock to top tunes from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today. End the evening with an outdoor movie featuring the cheesy classic, Young Frankenstein, complete with complimentary theater candy, popcorn, soda, and water. All guests will be entered to win the door prize, will receive SCAN SWAG, including Cheese & Quackers sunglasses and a light up mug, and will be able to strike a pose in a cheesy photo booth, plus, all the fun you can “muenster.” It doesn’t get “feta” than that.
