LIGONIER, IN — Avalon Village needs your help. The senior community wants to supply three local food banks and the local families they serve with food and personal care items. But this goal can’t be achieved without you.
The public is encouraged to donate to the “Stuff Our Bus Food Drive,” which culminates on Wednesday, Nov. 27. On that day, donations of food and personal care items can be taken to Avalon Village and placed on the senior community’s bus. The goal is to “Stuff Our Bus” to help local families. All items will be donated to the West Noble Food Bank, Wolf Lake Food Bank and Albion Food Bank.
Donations will be received from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Nov. 27 and refreshments will be served to donors. Donors will also have an opportunity to win prizes.
Avalon Village is operated by American Senior Communities and provides premier services, including Moving Forward Rehabilitation, Auguste’s Cottage Memory Care, Long Term Care, Hospice and Respite.
