The Board of Public Works and Safety reviewed and voted to approve the installation of 4-way stops at three different intersection in Meadowbrook at the July 7, 2020 meeting. The stops will be installed the week of July 20th, weather permitting, at:
• Courtney and Brookwood
• Courtney, Royalton and Melbourne
• Melbourne and Sherbrook
Temporary warning signs will be placed to make you aware of the new stop sign. Please use caution as you travel near this location.
Prior to the approval by the Board of Public Works and Safety, staff from the city did meet with the Meadowbrook Association Board. The Board did support the addition of the 4-way stops.
New 4-way stops can be implemented for the safety of pedestrian or if there is a line of site issue where two streets intersect.
