Dress up in Steam Punk style or as a favorite character, experience gaming through virtual reality technology, battle with Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones fans at Dagorhir, get photos with the Death Star, and much more at the third annual Sci-Fi Central, sponsored in part by NIPSCO.

Featured guests this year will include the 501st Legion, the Midwest R2 Builder’s Club, the Northern Steppes chapter of Dagorhir, V.R. gaming with Fortlan and Skeletunes, and more. The Allen County Public Library Maker Lab will have a 3-D printing station, and vendors will be selling merchandise in the marketplace.

Science Central will host Sci-Fi Central from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017. The mini-convention is designed to provide a high-quality, family-oriented science fiction experience. Admission to the event is $9 or free with a Science Central membership.
