The Indiana University Center for Intellectual Property Research has asked the Northeast ISBDC to make our regional media aware of an upcoming event in Fort Wayne that is free of charge and open to the public. Launch IP Fort Wayne is scheduled for Thursday, September 7, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Allen County Public Library’s Main Branch, Meeting Room A. This event is for Northeast Indiana start-up business owners, entrepreneurs and inventors, to make them aware of pro bono assistance that is available for patents, trademarks and copyrights through the I.U. Intellectual Property Clinic. A USPTO representative also will be on hand to discuss assistance available from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Midwest Regional Office in Detroit. Reservations are requested by September 1. See the attached document for more information.
