Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana will hold its 13th annual Tribute Dinner on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at The Mirro Center for Research and Innovation, Parkview Regional Medical Center Campus, 10622 Parkview Plaza Drive.
The keynote speaker is Mayor SuzAnne Handshoe. Handshoe is a Marine Corps veteran, the first woman to serve as mayor in Kendallville, and a cancer survivor. She will share her story of courage and perseverance.
This fundraising event pays for services for local people with cancer. The event also pays tribute to people touched by cancer and honors caregivers and medical professionals.
Cancer Services will also announce this year’s Champion of Hope award recipient. This award is given to an individual who embodies the mission of Cancer Services through a lifelong commitment to enhancing the quality of life of those affected by cancer.
