Lincoln Financial Foundation awarded a generous $80,000 grant in support of Community Harvest Food Bank’s Healthy Families Initiative. The funding will provide more than 350,000 healthy meals to food insecure children, seniors, Veterans, and families of northeast Indiana. With nearly 90,000 food insecure individuals living in northeast Indiana, the meals will make a substantial positive impact on hunger.
“We are honored to have the support of Lincoln Financial Foundation in our fight against hunger,” said Carmen Cumberland, Executive President of Community Harvest Food Bank. “Through their financial contributions and volunteerism, they are true champions for vulnerable children and families throughout the community.”
