Fort Wayne International Airport Announces Summer Mr. And Mrs. Vacation Promotion For A Chance To Win

Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) will kick off their summer promotional campaign, Mr. and Mrs. Vacation, tomorrow, Thursday, July 6, 2017.

Travelers are encouraged to seek out a Customer Service Agent (CSA) wearing a special, pink, tropical vacation-themed jacket. Once the traveler finds the CSA wearing the jacket, they will be able to enter the contest by filling out a contact card for a chance to win two roundtrip tickets to New York City via FWA’s non-stop service to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) on United.

Passengers have the opportunity for a second chance to win by taking a photo with Mr. or Mrs. Vacation and posting it on one of FWA’s social media pages with the hashtag #MrandMrsVacation. Entries will be accepted via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

“The Mr. and Mrs. Vacation contest will provide a fun and engaging way for our staff and passengers to interact. It will also provide another opportunity for members of the community to enjoy our new air service to NYC,” said Mr. Vacation.

Service to NYC/Newark began in September of 2016 on United, with flights leaving Fort Wayne International daily at 6 a.m. and returning around 10 p.m. EST.

“This flight is geared toward both business and leisure travelers. The flight allows passengers to arrive in Newark by 8 a.m., and be in Lower Manhattan as soon as 8:30 a.m. for a full day in the city. The flight leaves Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) at 8 p.m. and will have passengers back at FWA by 10 p.m.,” said Scott Hinderman, Executive Director of Airports.

The Mr. and Mrs. Vacation promotion will run from July 6 through August 31 in the main terminal of Fort Wayne International Airport. Customer Service Agents can be found in the airport on both the secure and non-secure sides of the terminal. Before you rush to your gate to wait for your plane, make sure you look for Mr. or Mrs. Vacation
