TheAnnie Oakley™ Perfumery in Ligonier is hosting its annual Aromatherapy Open House June 21-23. Free sensory tours and essential oil education sessions will start promptly at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 2 p.m. each of the three days at the Annie Oakley™ Perfumery Studio, located at 300 Johnson Street in Ligonier.
Annie Oakley owner/founder Renee Gabet invites guests to come experience “a creative, fun and educational excursion.” In addition to taking an Aromatherapy Sensory Tour, visitors can shop a large selection of pure essential oils, pre-mixed natural perfumes, as well as skin care and spa products. They will have the opportunity to create their own unique natural body mist, room spray and/or body oil, products that promote “happiness and wellbeing,” according to Gabet.
During the sensory tours, visitors will learn about the healing qualities of aromatherapy and pure essential oils and how they can be used to enhance their daily life. Guests will meet with Annie Oakley™ perfumers and sample a variety of organic, aromatic raw materials from around the world. Visitors also will have the opportunity to browse the Annie Oakley™ Gift Shoppe, which will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, and enjoy refreshments compliments of Annie Oakley™.
All visitors of the Aromatherapy Open House Tour will receive a free gift and can register for a chance to win Annie Oakley pure essential oils or one of the firm’s stainless-steel Aroma necklaces. In addition, the first 50 Open House guests to use the code phrase “Stops Bugs Now” will receive a free bottle of Annie Oakley’s Don’t Touch Me Outdoor Body Spray. This all-natural spray, which is made with pure essential oils, is ten times more effective than DEET in repelling bugs, and also is child and pet safe, according to Gabet.
