Fire Police City County FCU Holding Free Financial Workshop, Dollar$ & Sense, For The Youth

Learning to save for what you want in life is a crucial skill that all young people should be learning. On Tuesday, June 13, Fire Police City County Federal Credit Union is holding a free financial workshop, Dollars and Sense, for the youth in our community. The workshop will focus on helping young people develop good saving habits and encourage saving for something they care about.

The Credit Union’s initiative is to teach youth about smart money management and the basic understanding of saving and banking to further their financial success into the future. “Member education and concern for the community are part of the foundational principles of our financial structure,” comments Leslie Adair, Marketing Manager with Fire Police City County FCU. “Passing along a crucial life skill to the next generation to prepare them for a bright future embodies both those principles.”

Dollars and Sense takes place on Tuesday, June 13, at 3226 North Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM and features snacks, activities, and financial basics as well as a gift for each attendee.
