Writing Workshop For Aspiring Authors And Entrepreneurs

The publishing industry has expanded in recent decades and now includes a variety of options for potential authors. Move Forward Communications will host WRITERS 1.0, a workshop dedicated to helping beginners navigate this ever-changing terrain by becoming better writers and professional authors. Details for the next Writers 1.0 workshop are below:

WRITERS 1.0: A hands-on experience that gives aspiring authors a comprehensive view of writing and publishing. Topics will include developing writing skills, pitching your message, pinpointing your theme, self-publishing vs. traditional publishing, and writing to inspire others.

When: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 13th

Where: Allen County Public Library (the Globe Room), 900 Library Plaza, Fort Wayne.

Cost: $40; $50 after April 30th; includes refreshments and materials.

Sharon Tubbs is the owner of Move Forward Communications. For 17 years, she worked as a journalist for the Tampa Bay Times (formerly St. Petersburg Times) and The Philadelphia Inquirer, before establishing MFC in 2012. She has studied the publishing industry, advised other writers, written three faith-based books, and edited books for other writers.
