The Bishop Luers High School Academic Super Bowl English team took first-place in competition on March 2 at South Side High School, Fort Wayne. This year’s topic is the French Revolution, and the English team’s area of concentration is Dickens’ “Tale of Two Cities” and English Romantic poetry of Blake, Wordsworth, and Byron, which react to the French Revolution. The Bishop Luers coaches are Jordan Miller and Kathy Schall. The team, in the photo from left, consists of Sophie Gernhardt, Rachel Notter, Margaret Cicchiello, Grace Georgi and Mary Cicchiello. These students divided into two teams and the winning team included Margaret Cicchiello and Rachel Notter.
