USF To Host Animator From Disney Film “Moana” For Lecture And Screening

The University of Saint Francis is hosting Disney animator and USF alumnus Adam Green on Monday and Tuesday, March 27-28. On Monday, March 27, the community is invited to a free Closer Look Lecture at 7:30 p.m. in the USF North Campus Auditorium, 2702 Spring Street. Adam will be discussing his time at Disney and work animating for Disney’s “Moana.”

The public is also invited to a special screening of the Disney film “Moana” on March 28 at 7 p.m., with animator Green presenting a question and answer period afterward. The free screening event will be in the USF Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center, 431 W. Berry Street. Complimentary parking is available across Berry Street in the University of Saint Francis lot.

Green is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. The USF graduate has been animating professionally for twelve years. Adam has been an animator on films like “Tangled,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Frozen,” and “Big Hero 6.” He was co-head of animation with Eric Goldberg on the Disney short “Get a Horse.” He has just finished as a supervising animator on the Disney film “Moana” and is currently working on “Wreck-It Ralph 2.” He currently lives in Santa Clarita, California with his wife Kristi and daughter Aubrey.
