Tickets are now available for the Allen County SPCA’s Pawject Runway, an exciting red carpet event to be held at Hotel Fort Wayne on March 4, 2017 at 6 PM.
Pawject Runway features the creative talents of groomers from all over the tri-state area as they transform dogs into works of art and compete for top prizes. While competitors work the runway, attendees will enjoy photo ops from the "puparazzi," silent auction, hor d’oeuvres, cash bar, and more.
This year’s competition judges are the Honorable Fran Gull, Allen Superior Court Judge; Anthony Jones with Dr. Gary’s Best Breed Dog Food; Nancy Hanna, a groomer with 30 years of experience; and Sandy Blackburn, who has competed for many years in the art of creative grooming.
"This is such a fun event for Fort Wayne," said Allen County SPCA Executive Director Jessica Henry. "It allows groomers to showcase their skills and pet lovers to support a great cause. Pawject Runway supports our Angel Fund, which helps us care for pets whose needs go above and beyond vaccinations and routine spay/neuter surgeries. The animals who have benefited from the Angel Fund have fought against great odds and are now in forever homes. Their before and afters are shocking, and it’s because of events such as Pawject Runway that we can continue this level of care."
Tickets are available now at www.allencountyspca.org. Prices range from $40-100 and include various perks such as front row seating and complimentary drinks.
