HU Announces January Foundation Breakfast

The Huntington University Foundation is kicking off 2017 and the New Year’s Foundation Breakfast Series by hosting Jim O’Donnell, Executive-in-Residence at Huntington University. O’Donnell will speak on What is One to Do? Part II, the 2017 edition. O’Donnell will discuss the recent election and how the outcome will influence the nation’s economic opportunities for 2017 and beyond.

“You won’t want to miss this annual January breakfast program as Jim O’Donnell shares his words of wisdom with us for what’s ahead for the New Year,” said Holly Sale, Foundation president.

In 2010, O’Donnell was appointed to the first named faculty chair at Huntington University. In 2012, he was granted Emeritus Status by the Board of Trustees in recognition of his 19 years as a faculty member. He continues to speak, write and travel for the university, as well as many other organizations.

The January Foundation Breakfast featuring O’Donnell will take place on Wednesday, January 11, at the Habecker Dining Commons with breakfast beginning at 7:45 a.m. and the program starting at 8:00 a.m. and concluding by 9:00 a.m.

The Foundation Breakfast is held on the second Wednesday of each month, October through May, and is open to the public. The cost of the breakfast is $10, a portion of which helps to support local area students attending HU through the Huntington County Grant. First-time attendees eat free courtesy of Bailey-Love Mortuary.

RSVPs are requested for the breakfast but are not required. For more information or to RSVP, contact Barb Baker at (260) 359-4069 or
