New Year’s Eve Comedy Dinner Theater To Benefit Oak Hill Farm

Roanoke’s Cottage Event Center will again play host to Hilarious Homicidal Hijinks on New Year’s Eve with a Comedy-Mystery Dinner Theater starring Fort Wayne’s popular BOWER NORTH PRODUCTIONS. The event is a fund raiser for Oak Hill Farm.

The play is titled “DEAD IN THE WATER”, and features LARRY BOWER as the bumbling “Defective Detective” John Fieldstone, a sleuth who seemingly does everything wrong right up until the moment he solves the crime.

Those attending the New Year’s Eve show will mingle with the characters during cocktails and then enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by Walnut Hill Catering. Once dinner is completed the DEAD IN THE WATER ensues, with an audience member recruited to play a feature role…as the victim! The play takes place on a luxury cruise ship, with John Fieldstone on board. Once he completes his incompetent investigation, each audience member will be asked to fill out a Crime Report, with one attendee named Detective of the Night!

A Cash Bar will be available for both events. Tickets are $40 per person for New Year’s Eve, and may be ordered by calling 260-483-3508. Tickets are also available from Oak Hill Farm, or from John’s Meat Market in Roanoke.

Doors open for the dinner show at 6:30 PM, with the show starting around 7:30 PM. Sponsoring the fundraiser for the fourth straight year is 1st Source Bank.

Oak Hill Farm is a PATH International certified and accredited non-profit service organization dedicated to promoting horseback riding for the handicapped.
