The University of Saint Francis is offering a little early magic for families and friends looking ahead to its production of “The Wizard of Oz” in November.

A meet-and-greet and “Wizard of Oz Tour” at DeBrand Fine Chocolates at 10105 Auburn Park Drive on October 30 from 1 to 4 p.m. will give visitors a chance to tour the famous chocolatier’s facility and meet characters from “Oz.”

DeBrand staff members will lead tours as DeBrand cooks in each kitchen will make something different to taste, including chocolate centers, ice cream and melted chocolate, and offer whole chocolate samples. Guests can take photos and get autographs from “Oz” characters, and purchase tickets for the USF play, running Nov. 4-6 and 11-13 at the USF Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center, 431 W. Berry Street.

Tickets for the “Wizard of Oz” DeBrand event are $10 and can be purchased at tickets.artstix.org or at the door on October 30. Each guest will receive a voucher to redeem that day for $10 off a DeBrand purchase of $25 or more.
