Representatives from more than 30 local nonprofits working in the human services

field have formed a networking group called Alliance for Human Services. The group will hold its

inaugural meeting at 8:30 a.m., September 9 at the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne, 555

E. Wayne St.

The group’s purpose is to improve northeast Indiana nonprofit organizations by encouraging idea

sharing, collaboration, and peer‐to‐peer networking to build stronger community relationships.

Membership is open to the chief executive officer of any 501(c)3 organization serving people in need in

northeast Indiana. The group will meet six times per year and provide an opportunity for communication

and professional development. Interested non‐profit leaders are invited to attend the inaugural meeting

on September 9.
