Crumback Chevrolet proudly celebrates Richard (Dick) Crumback’s 50th Anniversary as a Chevrolet Dealer.
Mr. Crumback worked as a service manager for 15 years with a Chevrolet dealer before owning his own dealership. On August 8, 1966 Mr. Crumback opened his first dealership in Piqua, Ohio selling Chevrolet-Olds and Cadillac models. Five years later in 1971, he moved to their current location at 624 State Route 930 E in New Haven where he has been a mainstay of the dealership. Mr. Crumback is 87 years old and was happily married for 63 years before losing his wife, Betty, in 2015. He has lived in Fort Wayne for 45 years where he enjoys his three children and many grandchildren.
You can find Mr. Crumback at the showroom daily with smiles and stories. “I love the interaction with the people the most. People are interesting to me and so are the cars. That new car smell never gets old,” he says.
Chevrolet representatives will be in attendance at the celebration to honor Mr. Crumback as one of few people reaching this milestone.
Mr. Crumback’s son, Russ, is proud of his father saying, “This is a momentous occasion and worthy of the recognition. His commitment to the Chevy brand has been unwavering for 50 plus years.”
Please join us as we recognize and celebrate Dick Crumback and his dedication to the award winning Chevrolet brand.
