Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana will hold its 2016 Tribute Dinner at The Mirro Center for Research and Innovation on Wednesday, September 21.
The keynote speaker is Wendy Harpham, M.D., a doctor of internal medicine, best-selling author, cancer survivor and an inductee into the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame. She will share her unique blend of engaging stories and useful insights about the power of hope in healing.
This is an important fundraiser for Cancer Services which helps fund services to local people with cancer. The event also pays tribute to people touched by cancer and honors caregivers and medical professionals.
Cancer Services will also announce this year’s Champion of Hope award recipient. This award is given to an individual who embodies the mission of Cancer Services through a lifelong commitment to enhancing the quality of life of those affected by cancer in Northeast Indiana.
