The 2016-2017 season marks the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network, 10-year anniversary in the NBA Development League. The season will tip off on Sunday, November 20th at 5:00 p.m. when they host the Sioux Falls Skyforce, at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
The home opener against the Skyforce will be the first of 50 regular season games for the Mad Ants in the 2016-17 season. The Ants will play 15 of their 24 home games on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, this season the start time for Friday and Saturday games have been changed to 7:00 p.m.
Being the 10-year anniversary of the Mad Ants, expect big things this year. Mad Ants School Day is the first large addition to the list. School Day will consist of students from Allen, Adams, Defiance, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, Noble, Paulding, Steuben, Van Wert, Wells, and Whitley counties.

The NBA D-League will again feature two conferences, Eastern (Atlantic Division and Central Division) and Western (Southwest Division and Pacific Division).

Central Division: Canton, Fort Wayne, Grand Rapids, Raptors 905, Windy City
Western Conference
Southwest Division: Austin, Iowa, Oklahoma City, Rio Grande Valley, Sioux Falls, Texas
Pacific Division: Northern Arizona, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Reno, Santa Cruz
