Cooking Classes In Southeast Fort Wayne Culminate In Community Potluck!

Bridge of Grace Compassionate Ministries Center will be hosting a Community Potluck event to celebrate the completion of their Our HEALing Kitchen cooking class series.

Sponsored by Parkview Health and St. Joseph Community Health Foundation, the Our HEALing Kitchen classes were designed to address food insecurity and to encourage residents to use fresh produce to make healthier meals.

This summer Bridge of Grace held classes for three target groups in the Mount Vernon Park neighborhood of Southeast Fort Wayne: English-speaking residents, Burmese residents, and Spanish- speaking residents. During the community celebration, students from each class will be invited to bring a meal they’ve learned to prepare during cooking classes.

The event is free and will take place in the gym of Bridge of Grace at 5100 Gaywood Drive in Many Nations Church. All are welcome to attend and encouraged to bring a dish to share. Games, activities, and prizes will be offered.

Sign in will begin at 12:00 noon. Lunch will be served at 12:30.
