Super Shot, Inc. has been awarded a grant in the amount of $20,000 by the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne. These funds will be used to support our community immunization clinics and education programs.
Through the support of location foundations, like the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne, companies and individuals in our community, Super Shot is able to provide childhood immunizations for uninsured, underinsured and Medicaid-enrolled children – birth through 18 years old. Super Shot also provides immunizations for uninsured and underinsured adults. With this grant, we will continue our mission to promote vaccination and provide access to immunization community-wide.
“This grant is such a welcome shot in the arm for us. As most organizations know, donations to smaller organizations are harder to come by and everyone is struggling to meet their community’s needs. When the pool of money available to these organizations continues to shrink, organizations like Super Shot have to make some tough decisions to continue supporting our community. Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne’s grant provides us that extra boost to continue to focus on improving our clinics and to provide the education to the community regarding just how important immunizations are to the health of our community. We greatly appreciate the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne for this generous support.” – Doug Samuels, Chairman, Super Shot Board of Directors.
