The Bishop Luers High School community will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, June 23, at 2:45 p.m. at the front entrance of the school to celebrate construction of the new Chapel of St. Francis and media center.
Michael Kinder and Sons, Inc., is the contractor for this phase of the project. The chapel and media center will be reconfigured into the former library, bookstore and classroom space.
This portion of the project, which is part of the ongoing Faith In Our Future Capital Campaign, Phase II, is expected to be completed by October. The ongoing $4 million campaign involves the construction of a chapel, media center, performing arts addition and building renovations. More information is available at www.bishopluers.org/campaign.
The community is invited to join school, diocesan and Michael Kinder and Sons, Inc., dignitaries at the groundbreaking ceremony. Visit www.bishopluers.org for information.
