SELLOUT: Wednesday’s crowd of 7,263 was the 3rd sellout of the season at Parkview Field.

TURN THE PARK PINK: The TinCaps are wearing pink jerseys tonight that are being auctioned off online at TinCapsJersey.com. Proceeds will benefit the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer, which funds research at the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis. According to breastcancer.org, about 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of their lifetime. An estimated 246,000-plus new cases will be diagnosed this year, plus another 2,600 cases in men.

PAT McAFEE: Colts punter Pat McAfee is scheduled to throw out a ceremonial first pitch before tonight’s game. McAfee is in town for a stand-up comedy show across the street on Friday night at the Embassy Theatre . McAfee, 29, was drafted by the Colts in 2009 out of West Virginia and has been the team’s starting punter ever since. He was named to the AP’s All-Pro team in 2014 and 2015, and also made the Pro Bowl in 2014.

BIG LEAGUER ON DECK: Detroit Tigers pitcher Shane Greene is scheduled to make a rehab start for the West Michigan Whitecaps on Friday night at Parkview Field. Greene, 27, has been on Detroit’s disabled list since April 28 with a blister on his right middle finger. The right-hander made his MLB debut with the Yankees in 2014 and was traded to the Tigers after that season. In 37 career MLB appearances (33 starts), he has a 5.45 ERA. He’ll be the first MLB rehabber at Parkview Field since then-Padres catcher Tim Federowicz last year.
