The City of Fort Wayne is once again hosting a speaker series this summer at the Envision Fort Wayne Center, 916 S. Calhoun St.
Throughout the summer, a variety of topics will be discussed over breakfast on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month beginning at 7:30 a.m. Coffee and pastries will be provided. Topics for May include:
Wednesday, May 11, 7:30 a.m.: Introducing Bike Share to Fort Wayne
- Join Active Transportation Planner Kate Riordan as she shares details about the City’s new bike share initiative. Riordan will explain the benefits of using a bike share and demonstrate how to use Fort Wayne’s program.
Wednesday, May 25, 7:30 a.m.: Celebrating Historic Preservation Month
- Join Historic Preservation Planner Don Orban as he takes attendees on a virtual tour of some of the community’s historic treasures, such as the Allen County Courthouse and homes in the West Central Neighborhood.
The Envision Fort Wayne Center is a downtown storefront that provides citizens the opportunity to comment, discuss and review aspects of City of Fort Wayne projects.
