WHAT:
The Dexter ProTour is visiting Ivy Tech Community College Northeast. The mobile culinary unit will provide knife demonstrations for students throughout the day. The presenter, Ryan Trinkofsky, is the corporate chef for Dexter-Russell Knife Co., the oldest and largest knife company in the United States. Trinkofsky started his culinary career at Ivy Tech Northeast, where he took classes in summer 2011 while he was a musician with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.
“I retired from music after attending classes after having had an amazing experience,” Trinkofsky says.
Ivy Tech Northeast students will have the opportunity to attend the 30-minute presentation throughout the day.
